
CONTRACT INFORMATION
This Charter Contract Information outlines the terms and conditions under which CAPTAIN JUAN YACHTS provides luxury yacht charters. It ensures that all parties—charterers, guests, and crew—understand their rights, obligations, and expectations. These provisions are aligned with international yachting industry standards and are intended to safeguard safety, service quality, and the legal rights of both guests and the company.
1. Charter Agreement

A written Charter Agreement must be signed by the charterer before embarkation.

The agreement includes details of the yacht, duration, itinerary, payment, and conditions of use.

The captain has full responsibility for navigation, safety, and adherence to maritime law.
2. Booking & Payments

To secure a booking, a deposit of 50% of the total charter fee is required upon signing the contract.

The remaining 50% balance must be paid no later than 30 days before embarkation.

For bookings made within 30 days of departure, full payment is required at the time of signing.

Payments can be made via wire transfer, approved credit card, or certified company invoice.
3. Cancellation Policy

Cancellations 60+ days before embarkation: refund issued minus admin fees.

Cancellations 30–59 days before embarkation: 50% of the charter fee retained.

Cancellations less than 30 days before embarkation: no refund.

In the event of force majeure (mechanical failure, extreme weather, unforeseen restrictions), CAPTAIN JUAN YACHTS reserves the right to reschedule or provide a substitute yacht of equal or higher standard.
4. Charter Fee Inclusions
The standard charter fee covers:

Exclusive use of the yacht for the agreed period.

Professional crew services (captain, stewardess, chef, deckhands as applicable).

Standard water toys and onboard amenities.

Insurance of the yacht and crew under maritime law.
5. Charter Fee Exclusions
The charter fee does not include:

Fuel, marina docking fees, harbor charges, and cruising permits.

Food, beverages, and special requests.

Airport transfers, tours, or onshore activities.

Communications (satellite phone, internet outside standard allowance).

Crew gratuities (customary industry standard is 15–20% of charter fee).
6. Safety & Compliance

The captain has absolute authority concerning yacht navigation and guest safety.

Safety instructions must be followed by all guests at all times.

Life jackets and safety equipment must be used when instructed.

Illegal substances, firearms, or hazardous materials are strictly prohibited.
7. Guest Responsibilities

9. Alcohol & Substances

Alcohol consumption is permitted for guests in moderation.

Crew may not consume alcohol during duty.

Possession or use of illegal substances will result in immediate termination of the charter without refund.
10. Confidentiality & Privacy

All guest information, itineraries, and onboard experiences are strictly confidential.

Crew and staff are prohibited from disclosing details of guests to third parties.

11. Insurance & Liability

12. Environmental Policy

13. Force Majeure & Substitutions

If the yacht becomes unavailable due to mechanical failure, natural disaster, or unforeseen circumstances, CAPTAIN JUAN YACHTS will provide:

A substitute yacht of equal or higher quality, or

A rescheduled charter at a mutually agreed date.

14. Termination of Charter

CAPTAIN JUAN YACHTS reserves the right to terminate the charter without refund if:

15. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes must first be addressed in good faith between the parties.
